EPW - Zenith, Swiss, "Extra R.R. 56" marked mvt and dial, 51mm (16S for North American market), gold-filled OF original Zenith case with "Fortune," "Sturdy," and "Case made in Canada" markings, white enamel SS impressed dial with Canadian market 13 to 24 hour numerals, SW-LS, fully-capped lever escapement, 21J, fausses-côtes pattern nickel damascene, s#4732010. A scarce high grade watch made for Canadian railroad service, total production of the Extra R.R. 56 is believed to be 1000 made.

Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, some scattered fine to micro-fine scratches, some oxide spots to winding wheels and regulator assembly; virtually flawless dial with small line of edge rub under bezel at 8; excellent hands; case shows very light wear, some fine scratches and profuse micro-fine scratches, ding to rear above center, scattered dings and nicks to band, inner rear with uneven darkened toning; bow pivots freely and has a ding near its top, crown shows very light wear; clean plastic crystal.
